Purpose-built, and opened in 1988, the house was refurbished in 2009 to a high standard and provides accommodation for up to 50 people. The Beeches and Oaks campsites cater for 36 and 18 campers respectively, while Sycamores and Firs offer areas for patrols and lightweight camping.
Archery, orienteering, and trampolining are among the activities available. The sensory garden, barbecue, picnic area and campfire circle offer a special outdoor setting for children’s woodland birthday parties and larger group activities.
Guiding and Scouting groups account for the majority of our bookings, but we also count schools, corporate team days and other diverse community groups among our clients.
