Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and leaders throughout the county took part in Remembrance Day activities. These activities included making poppies to attending parades and services. A number of units including 2nd Burwell Guides and 1st Willingham Brownies painted pebbles to be displayed at churches and war memorials. Other units made paper poppies and poppy banners including Swavesey Rainbows, 18th & 25th Cambridge Brownies and 38th Cambridge Guides. 3rd Ely Guides made their poppies out of recycled plastic bottles. 3rd Newmarket Brownies made Remembrance lanterns out of jam jars which looked really effective.
