1st Horseheath Brownies enjoyed a bunny themed weekend at the Jarman Centre recently.
The girls and Leaders took part in a variety of activities from making lollipop bunnies to carrot welly pegs, from bunny masks to rabbit Easter cards, from decorating storage jars to following a trail through the grounds to find lunch.
Everyone took part in ‘bunny cluedo’ during the afternoon sunshine finding out who had stolen whose carrot and where it was hidden – Mr McGregor had stolen Thumpers carrot and had hidden it on the hill! The evenings were action packed too, with a campfire on Friday and a marathon dance off for Sports Relief on Saturday.
The girls also had the chance to try archery with Toni-ann on Sunday. For the majority of the girls it was their first time at archery. Katie had the highest Brownie score of 25, while Emma had the highest adult score of 53!
Megan, a Brownie said “I had an amazing time and can’t wait to go again. The Jarman Centre is a great place and Barney organises the best things for us to do.”
Pauline, a Leader said “It was a fantastic weekend filled with laughter, fun and excitement. It was great to spend quality time together in a homely environment”.
Before leaving on Sunday, the Leaders wanted to see how many Brownies could get on Ned? They managed nine – can anyone beat that?
