Arty day for 1st Shelford Guides

Four girls from 1st Shelford Guides met up with around 50 other Guides from across the Anglia Region at an Arts Adventure day held just outside Cambridge.

The girls took part in a range of activities, including playing tunes on boomwhackers, practicing calligraphy, learning Irish dancing and painting Chinese lanterns with cherry blossom.

Amy, aged 10, said “The Irish dancing was like River Dance, it was the best bit of the day! It was very funny when we kept going wrong and we all laughed and tried again.”
