The Lord Lieutenant’s Challenge has been designed to suit all sections, and encourages the girls to find out about their local community and democracy, as well as take part in events locally.
“The world on your doorstep” Challenge Badge
Come and explore WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) and its five regions. It’s got movement, tastes and creativity from all around the world. There are lots of links to the programme and references to help you run the activities.
The World on your doorstep challenge badge is suitable for all sections, including Inspire and Trefoil. It can be completed by units or individuals and is appropriate for virtual and socially distanced guiding.
Arts 4 All Challenge Badge
The Arts 4 All Challenge badge is a great resource to include in your Spring term programme. It is suitable for all sections: from Rainbows to adults and includes a wide range of activities for you to try.
PR Star Challenge Badge
The County PR and Programme teams have come together to create this resource for all sections. Help to keep guiding in the public eye by completing the challenge with your unit or as a group of adult leaders/Trefoil Guild members.
Nights Away Scheme
To take part, fill in the Nights Away record card every time you go away for one night or more on a recognised Guiding event such as a sleepover, camp, holiday or international trip. Complete this form to order your badges.
