Members of Wisbech Trefoil Guild attended a cookery workshop at their meeting on Thursday 18 September. During the session the ladies made cheese and parsnip roulade and American muffins. Even the most reluctant of cooks were surprised with the results of the roulade and most confessed it isn’t a recipe that they would have usually tried. The American muffins were packed with juicy cranberries and succulent apricots. Sue said “I never would have tried to make these dishes and I’m surprised at how well they turned out. Since joining the Trefoil Guild I have had the opportunity to try several new things and have had lots of fun with my friends.” Trefoil Guild is guiding for adults.
There are nine Trefoil Guilds in Girlguiding Cambridgeshire East. New members are always welcome.
