Brownies help RSPCA centre

RSPCA Centre helped by Brownies

Eighteen Brownies from the 3rd Wisbech Brownie group have been thinking about animal care this term. The Brownies have been collecting tins of animal food and have knitted squares to make eight blankets for the RSPCA Rehoming Centre at Block Fen.

At their meeting on Tuesday they were visited by Kirstyn Gaunt Deputy Manager of the Centre and Emma Smith reception supervisor who talked to the girls about their work with animals and answered the girls’ questions.

The Brownies handed over their gifts of food and blankets and are planning to visit the Block Fen Animal Centre at a future meeting.
