On Wednesday 11 March, girls from the Manea Rainbows, Brownies and Guides took part in the first ever Comic Relief Danceathon in support of Red Nose Day 2015 during their weekly meeting.
The girls, all aged between 5 and 14, joined thousands of other Guides up and down the country to take part in the special girl-only dance – prior to the event the girls had filled sweet tubes with coins to raise funds for Comic Relief. During the evening the coins were made into funny faces.
Each girl received a special Danceathon badge for their efforts. The Manea girls raised £94 from their event.
