Judging by all the positive comments and thanks the committee has received since 3 July, both from participants and contractors, I would say everyone enjoyed the day. It is always nice to get positive feedback, and shows that the hard work that goes into an event like this is worth it. I have heard from several who said they had tears in their eyes during the finale. As she was leaving the racecourse I heard a girl say, "I didn't realise coaches could count - how did they get into the right order?" ...
The Racecourse has written saying that although we obviously don't celebrate 100 years very often they would love to have us again and they have never known anyone leave the place as tidy.
Here is a collection ofphotos, a list oflost property, the results of thequizzesand a summary of the £289.62collected on the day from theWacky 100pennies. Thank you everyone for making this such a wonderful day.
